Hu Zi Ge

The nickname comes from the beard he has worn for years. At HDB, everyone calls him Hu Zi Ge.

He is decisive at work and treats colleagues like friends. Getting to know him and the people around him is a good way to get to know HDB, a custom medal manufacturer and custom pin manufacturer in Zhongshan, China.

How We
Became HDB

Our manufacturing experience began before the HDB name. The team’s roots trace back to Zhongshan Xinyilai Metal Artworks Factory, where our work in metal crafts and custom gifts began.

Another company within the same manufacturing team

Chuge was established in 2014. In 2018, Zhongshan Hongdebo Crafts Co., Ltd. was established, giving the team another company through which to serve customers. This is the company behind HDB today.

In 2025, the same manufacturing team established another company, 27th Cultural Gifts Co., Ltd. HDB continues to operate as Hongdebo, working with customers on custom medals, pins, and related gifts.

As a metal crafts manufacturer, we work with ideas that matter to someone: a logo they want to get right, a medal for an event they have spent months planning, or a gift meant to be kept. Understanding that purpose gives our work its direction.

For Hu Zi Ge, a person’s drive matters more than their ability. That belief helps explain the team we want to build: people who take an interest in the work and want to keep getting better at it.
